About Us
Archmoor Care Home is owned by Mags Pilkington and her husband Andy, and is run as a family business with family values in mind. As a qualified nurse, Mags has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in both general nursing and in the care of elderly people.
Archmoor is managed by Jean Lester, who is totally committed to the care of elderly people. Jean began working at Archmoor in 1995. Since then, and throughout Jean’s progression to Manager, she has constantly demonstrated her dedication and passion to the welfare of our clients, relatives and staff.
Mags and Jean working together ensure that the home not only meets current regulations but exceeds them. This is an evolving process and we welcome observations from those who come to visit us.
We continually strive to develop, maintain and improve our services to the care of elderly people, and are dedicated to our “extended family”.
We pride ourselves on having an excellent reputation within the local community.
